Chrysler Group’s overall sales were up 31 percent last month, with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram seeing sales increased compared to a year prior.
Chrysler had a strong month in March with 121,730 units sold. The Chrysler brand saw 8,000 more sales compared to February, while Dodge increased sales by 11,000 units from the month prior, said Hereford TX used cars.
In addition, according to Jeeps For Sale In CT, Jeep and Ram brands also performed well. Sales of Ram pickups were up 23 percent compared to March 2010, while Jeep sales increased 36 percent. The latter was aided by demand for the all-new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which garnered a sales increase of 64 percent.
“Our pickups and sport-utilities have been strong performers in the market, and now we are seeing our cars gaining momentum in the marketplace as well,” said Fred Diaz, President and CEO – Ram Truck Brand and Lead Executive for U.S. Sales. “Chrysler Group’s retail sales during the first quarter of this year were up 51 percent compared with the same period in 2010. We showcased our all-new and significantly-refreshed 2011 models during our Premiere Event in March. Now we launch our Minivan Month and Jeep® 70th Anniversary activities as we continue to build on our sales momentum.”
